Ddon't know about reliability of the new injectors - but the concern is that the OEM/old style injectors don't fare well with oxygenated fuels - at least that is the theory. On the other hand, petro companies swear that the oxygenated fuels are completely compatible with all injectors. It is a he-said-she-said I think. With the current push toward ethanol, if it were a few extra bucks to go with the newer style I'd do it - purportedly... the new style does not fail when exposed to oxygenated fuel. There are some strong opinions out there on both sides of the arguement, but IF oxygenates DO kill old style injectors - there will be class action lawsuits from many drivers (not just Z'ers) with failed injector/fuel systems...
